To celebrate Olo’s 20th anniversary, we are bringing back a Friday tradition the world clearly needs: the long lunch.

What exactly is a long lunch?

Once upon a time, the long lunch was practically an institution. You sat down at lunchtime, but no one was overly concerned about when you might leave. Courses followed one another, another bottle of wine might be opened and the problems of the world were solved over white tablecloths. At least in our own minds.

Phones did not constantly buzz, calendar invitations did not rule our lives and your next meeting might well take place at the very same table. Being in a hurry was considered bad manners – quite rightly so.

Now we are bringing this excellent tradition back to Olo. You can begin your long Friday lunch as early as 11:30 am. After that, there is no need to look at the clock. Simply enjoy our anniversary lunch menu, good company and the luxury of taking your time. We recommend moving your final Friday meetings to Monday – they are unlikely to be quite this important anyway.
